A family in Washington Heights is looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible babysitter to help with their 3-year-old son before and after school during the upcoming school year.
The family is looking for someone who can provide a little extra care around his school schedule. His school provides van transportation directly from the family's apartment, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time position with a relatively short daily schedule.
Responsibilities
Morning Responsibilities — Approximately 7:30–8:30 AM
Spend time playing and engaging with the child before school
Help him get ready for the school day
Safely assist him into his car seat on the school van
Ensure he is ready and safely transferred to the school transportation
Afternoon Responsibilities — Approximately 3:15–4:15 PM
Meet the child when he returns home from school
Safely transition him from the school van into the apartment
Spend time playing and engaging with him
Provide attentive supervision until the family's designated end time
Qualifications
We're looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable babysitter for our curious and active 3.5-year-old son. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging young children through imaginative play, reading, crafts, games, and other age-appropriate activities while providing a safe, nurturing environment and communicating clearly with our family. CPR/First Aid certified; Valid driver's license; Non-smoker; Fluent in English; Experience with infants
