About the Role
A family in Riverdale is looking for a reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious family driver to assist with their elementary school-aged child’s daily transportation needs. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and comfortable driving the child to and from school and after-school activities throughout Manhattan.
Responsibilities
Safely transport the child to and from school
Drive the child to and from after-school activities and appointments as needed
Pick up and drop off the child at designated locations
Ensure the child enters and exits the vehicle safely
Maintain a safe, calm, and positive environment during transportation
Communicate with the parents regarding pick-up/drop-off times and any schedule changes
Help the child transition safely between school, activities, and home
Qualifications
Someone who is dependable, punctual, and comfortable navigating NYC while safely transporting a child between Riverdale, school, and after-school activities in Manhattan. Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Safe and responsible driving history
Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance, if using personal vehicle
Previous experience transporting children preferred
Responsible, punctual, and dependable
Comfortable driving in Manhattan and navigating NYC traffic
Safety-conscious and attentive
Patient and friendly with children
Strong communication skills
Reliable availability Monday–Friday
CPR & First Aid certification preferred
Professional childcare or family-driver references preferred
