About the Role
A family in New Rochelle is seeking a reliable, caring, and experienced full-time nanny to care for their two children during the afternoon and evening hours. The ideal candidate is warm, responsible, energetic, and comfortable managing an evening routine while providing attentive and engaging care.
Responsibilities
Pick up and care for the children during the afternoon and evening
Prepare and serve meals and snacks
Assist with homework and school-related activities
Plan age-appropriate activities, play, and outings
Help children with bathing, pajamas, and their evening routine
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
Handle light child-related tidying and laundry
Prepare the children for bedtime
Follow the family's established routines and expectations
Communicate with parents regarding the children's daily activities and needs
Qualifications
Previous professional childcare or nanny experience
Experience caring for multiple children
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Warm, patient, and nurturing personality
Comfortable managing two children independently
Able to maintain a structured evening routine
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable preparing simple meals for children
CPR & First Aid certification preferred
Must be able to commit to the Monday–Friday, 3 PM–11 PM schedule
